Hi Radio Teopoli Listeners,
Just reminding you all that if you missed Building A Civilization with
Frank Ruffolo on April 24th - this is what you missed.
First and foremost, the show was dedicated to St. George Martyr whose
Feast Day was Thursday, April 23rd.
Our First guest was Father Yolland Quellett, OMI from the National
Shrine of Cap- de-la-Madeleine, Quebec to discuss his upcoming May
16th, 2009 visit to Toronto at Our Lady of Cape to take part in a day
long celebration and festivities dedicated to Mary Model of Motherhood
at the Basilian Marian Shine of Our Lady of Gratitude in Toronto.
After Father Quellett, we had Neil McCarthy, Director of Public
Relations and communications for the Archdiocese of Toronto informed
us all about the media outreach public aware campaign launched by the
Archdiocese of Toronto featuring radio ads, a website, and an online
video message from Archbishop Thomas Collins and much more.
Salt and Light Television Producer and Host Pedro Guverra Mann called
in live via telephone to tell us about the next Hungry for the Spirit
Hosted by Salt and Light Television featuring an evening of music and
spiritual reflection with world renowned Catholic Artist John Michael
Talbot at St. Paul's Basilica taking place on Wednesday, April 29,
2009 at 7:30pm.
Dr. Christian Elia, Director of Office of Catholic Youth for the
Archdiocese of Toronto gave us his monthly update on youth events and
happenings throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto.
Last but not least, since the show was dedicated to St. George Martyr,
we had Dr. Selime Nakla live in the Radio Teopoli, AM530 studios and
told us all about this remarkable Saint who is the Patron Saint of
five countries including Egypt where Dr. Selime was born before
immigrating to Vatican City, then Canada.
