This week on Building A Civlization of Love we had a *special two hour edition from* 1:PM-3:PM dedicated to the Month of Mary and World Communications Day on Radio Teopoli AM530 also available on the Internet at www.AM530.ca. During this two hour edition of Building A Civilization of Love we took a look at some leading Catholic print and broadcast communicators and see how their gifts and talents are used to spread the good news of the Gospel message through the New Evangelization spoken so eloquently by Pope John Paul II during his Papacy.
The program began with a replay of an exclusive interview with Father Federico Lombardi, Head of the Holy See Press Office, Head of Vatican Radio and Television http://www.radiovaticana.org, and Spokesman for Pope Benedict XVI, recorded on location in May of 2008, at a Catholic Media Conference with over 400 Catholic communicators from North America in attendance held at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto.

Following the interview with Jim O'leary we also featured an interview with Carolyn Girard, Reporter/Editor of Youth Speak News, for The Catholic Register in which she discussed the importance of World Communications Day and the Internship program offered by The Catholic Register to young aspiring Catholic Journalists and some tips on how to get your event published in The Catholic Register.
Our program dedicated to World Communications Day featured an interview with Neil MacCarthy, Director of Communications and Public Relations, for the Archdiocese of Toronto, http://www.archtoronto.org/ discussing his role as head of a very busy Office of Communications in Canada's media capital with close to two million Catholics calling the City of Toronto home.
