The Fifth International Youth Conference will take place at the Basilica of St. Francis, in Assisi, Italy from Sunday August 2nd, to Sunday August 9th, 2009. This international gathering of youth will be a pilgrimage to various Franciscan sites with participants traveling to Rome to see the Holy Father on August 5th, 2009. Friar Ed Debono gave us all the details of the Fifth International Youth Conference in Assisi, Italy on a live telephone interview.
During our second segment we had week two of Stephanie and Catie's Excellent Adventure in Porto S. Girogio, Italy to take a summer credit course to study Italian with Centro Scola from St. Elisabeth Catholic High School in York Region just outside of the City of Toronto. They told us all about their visit to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy, and much more.

Talking about Stephanie and Catie's Excellent Adventure in Italy, Father Paolo Fedrigoni, IMC Consolata Missionaries Toronto, had very exciting and excellent news to share with our Radio Teopoli AM530 audience about a former seminary student he taught in Africa, who was installed a Bishop this past Monday July, 20, 2009, in this the Year of Priests.

While still on the topic of Africa, Access Charity will hold their Fourth Annual School Supply Drive from August 22-30, to benefit needy children in developing countries such as Honduras and Tanzania, Africa. Access Charity was founded more than four years ago by 16-year old Daniel Francavilla, a former student at St. Marguerite d'Youville Catholic High School in Brampton, Ontario. 19-year old Maxine Bower, the Promotions Director for Access Charity discussed the Fourth Annual Supply Drive and let us know how we can help in a pre-recorded telephone interview.

Dr. Christian Elia, Director of Office of Catholic Youth for the Archdiocese of Toronto let us know about the past weekend's Archdiocesan Youth Rally that took place at Martyrs' Shrine in Midland, Ontario and keeping up with Catholic Youth Conferences in the Archdiocese of Toronto and beyond we had
Carolyn Girard, Reporter/Editor of Youth Speak News, for The Catholic Register and she discussed a Catholic Youth Conference she attended called "Journey to the Father" in the diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall and some news stories from the Catholic Register.

Last but not least,
Romeo Meleca dropped by the Radio Teopoli, AM530 studio to tell us about his Pilgrimage of Love fund raising walk to Teopoli taking place later this Summer. Teopoli is located in Gravenhurst, Ontario, which would be about a two hundred kilometer walk. In this interview Romeo
told us what inspired him to undertake this long distance fund raising trek to Teopoli in the month of August this year.
